Lover's Beach St. Maarten: How to get there
St. Maarten is a very popular vacation destination in the Caribbean. An off the beaten path thing to do for couples is the elusive Lover's Beach. It is described as the smallest beach on the island, only big enough for two people, hence the name Lover's Beach! A few travel blogs offered directions we found to be a little shifty once we arrived to the area, luckily for us we ran into a local who was familiar with the path to the secluded beach. I wanted to make the search for the beach easier for others so here are some map directions with pictures that will help! Many articles will say the beach is located in Friar's Bay, but it is actually in Anse des Peres Bay . However, you will take the roads into Friar's Bay to reach the area. Set your navigation directions to take you to Rue de Friar's Bay road, this paved road will end at the Ravine but a small dirt road will continue straight do not go straight turn left .
